What is boxly?
Boxly offers self-storage solutions. Whether at our facility or at your location, we are ready to help you.
What sizes do you offer?
- boxly Compact (≈4.5 m²) – Space for all your essentials, at competitive prices. Perfect for students between school, seasonal items, bicycles or a few boxes.
- boxly Standard (≈7 m²) – Our most popular choice! Ideal for home remodeling projects, moving, tool and equipment storage, or warehousing of inventory.
- boxly Large (≈14 m²) – Maximum space to solve any need. The right choice for storing household appliances and bulky furniture, several rooms’ worth of
items, or significant business inventory and equipment.
How do I make a reservation?
Choose the size that suits your needs.
Sign the contract digitally.
Pay online.
Receive an access code, or we can arrange delivery of the boxly mobile unit.
When can I access my storage unit?
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With a unique access code for the gate and your unit, there are no restrictions.
Is there a minimum rental period?
No. With boxly, you have complete flexibility. Choose your preferred start date and cancel whenever it suits you.
How is payment made? Do you issue a receipt/invoice?
Payment is made automatically every month via direct debit from your credit card or bank account. Receipts/invoices include 24% VAT and are available in your account.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, the deposit equals one month’s rent and is retained to cover any unpaid fees or damages, or returned at the end of the contract, according to the agreement.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. Controlled access, security cameras with monitoring, and all-night lighting. The units are made of galvanized steel and are ventilated. High-security locks are managed online with unique access codes.
Are the storage units climate-controlled?
No, the units are not heated or cooled. The facility has shading and natural ventilation; for sensitive items, we recommend proper packaging/protection.
Do you offer contents insurance?
Yes, optional coverage is available through a partner insurance company—ask us about the packages.
What items are not allowed in storage?
Living organisms, perishable food, cash/valuables, explosives, fuels/gas cylinders, hazardous chemicals, illegal items. Full details are in the contract.
Can I work inside my storage unit? Is electricity provided?
No, the units are exclusively for storage (not for workshops, shops, or residential use). Fixed electricity is not provided.
Do you offer loading/moving assistance?
Yes, through our partners (loading/unloading, packing, transport). Contact us for a quote.
Are shelves or organizational equipment available?
Optional Dexion-type shelves and organizational accessories are available to maximize your space.
How does boxly Mobile work in practice?
You book a date, we place the storage unit at your location, and you fill it at your convenience. Then we transport it for storage at our facility or to a new destination you specify. Delivery zones/fees apply per area.
What space requirements are needed for Mobile delivery?
Approximate free space: width ~3 m, height ~3 m, and length ~8 m for vehicle maneuvering. For restricted roads/permits, we guide you through the process.
Do I need a permit for a container on the street or under a canopy?
It depends on the municipality/building regulations. We provide instructions and documents if needed; compliance is the customer’s responsibility.
Can I share access with colleagues or family?
Absolutely. You can issue additional access codes via your account.
Are there discounts for long-term rentals or multiple units?
Yes. We offer preferential rates for 6 & 12 months and for multiple units.
What happens if I delay payment?
We send a reminder and a short grace period. After that, access may be suspended until payment is settled. See the terms for the detailed policy.
Can I change the unit size later?
Yes, depending on availability, you can move your belongings to a larger or smaller unit without hassle.
How do I cancel? Is there a fee?
Cancellation is done online with no additional fees. You initially prepay one month, and if you cancel before the month ends, the remaining balance is refunded.
Can you pick up/deliver items if I’m not present?
With authorization, we can allow access to a partner/courier or deliver the boxly Mobile unit without your presence, where permitted.
